Return & Refund Policy

At B's Cozy Corner Books, we want ever customer to feel confident ordering from us. Because we are a small business and many of our items are books sold in specific condition grades, please review our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition it was received
  • The item must be unused, unread and undamaged
  • The item must include any original packaging, if applicable

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be approved.

Book Condition Notice

Many books sold by B's Cozy Corner Books may be new, used or preowned and are priced based on condition.

We do our best to accurately describe each item and note visible wear, flaws or imperfections when applicable.

Because of this, we do not accept returns for:

  • Minor shelf wear
  • Small creases, edge wear or cosmetic imperfections consistent with the listed condition
  • personal preference after purchase
  • Buyer's remorse or accidental orders

Please review all listing details and photos carefully before purchasing.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or incorrect:

  • used books sold as described
  • bookmarks
  • stickers
  • sale, discounted or clearance items
  • gift cards, if offered
  • any item marked final sale

Damaged, Incorrect or Not-as-Described Orders

If your order arrives:

  • damaged in transit
  • Incorrect
  • Missing items
  • or significantly different from the listing description

Please contact us within 3 days of deliver at:

Please include:

  • your order number
  • a brief description of the issue
  • clear photos of:
    • the item
    • the packaging
    • any shipping damage, if applicable

We review these situations case by case and, if approved, may offer one of the following:

  • a replacement, if available
  • store credit
  • a partial refund
  • a full refund

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping cost unless:

  • we sent them the wrong item
  • the item arrived damaged
  • the item was significantly not as described

If a return is approved for one of the reasons above, we will work with you to make it right.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error or shipping damage.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled if they have not yet been shipped.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the return process outlined above.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are the responsibility of the shipping carrier. 

If your package appears lost or is significantly delayed, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you in locating it or helping you to file a carrier claim if necessary.
